On February 20, 2023, a research meeting on legislation for alternative dispute resolution was held at the headquarters of the China Commercial Mediation Development Cooperation Mechanism in Zhangjiang National Innovation Demonstration Zone, hosted by the Shanghai Law Society’s Alternative Dispute Resolution and Rule of Law Research Association. Gu Weiqiang, Jiang Huiling, Zhang Bin, Wang Xie, Hou Huaixia, Zhang Wei, Xia Yonghong and experts and scholars i from Shanghai Jiaotong University, Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, and Supervisory Committee of Shanghai Municipal People’s Congress attended the research meeting.
